Eileen Pickard is Manager, Consultancy
& Training at Roehampton University of Surrey and oversees the
relationship with Hoskinson Associates and the modular EAP training.
She is an experienced Chartered Counselling Psychologist, educator
and trainer who has designed and delivered training programmes to
meet varied levels and interests in a range of organisational, educational
and cultural contexts. Her focus is employee and organisational
development.
She has developed both long and
short term programmes for employees of large organisations such
as British Telecom, The Post Office, Portex UK and the Metropolitan
Police. Recently she designed and developed the first UK post graduate
training programme for EAP Professionals. Her programme design and
delivery includes undergraduate, postgraduate and applied workplace
programmes accredited by recognised academic and/or professional
bodies. Her experience includes the assessment, accreditation and
evaluation of a range of training and development programmes in
the UK, Sweden, Kuwait, USA and South Africa.
As a member of the British Psychological
Society’s Training Committee for Counselling Psychology she
is active in the development and monitoring of standards nation
wide. She steered the development of the BPS’s Diploma in
Counselling Psychology, chaired its Examination and Accreditation
Board and was a member of the NVQ Lead Body for Advice, Guidance,
Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has advised the Association of
Counselling at Work on training developments and accreditation and
the IPD on their Counselling at Work statement.
